hey guys im having soo much trouble with this achievement and i was hoping if ther was anoyone with 3 legendery wepons they could drop so i could pick them up and get the achievemenent. and dont worrie i wont just take ur wepons ill give them back cus im more worried about the chevo than the wepons :) but if not then could u plz duplicate them so ther wont be any need 2 worrie

From memory, dropping them doesn't work as you need to be the first one to pick it up and you can no longer duplicate weapons online.
You need to remove the update and do it offline now. Personally, this one randomly popped for me just through playing the game but there are some good videos. Take a look at the achievement guides

You're right, dropping them doesn't work. I am still on my first playthrough, at the end up act 3, and I have already got the achievement. I'm however doing everything possible in the game and thus have probably opened almost all possible chests along the way :P
Follow a chest guide and hope for some good luck is the only help we can give. |

| I haven't gotten it yet, was 4/5 when I finished the game and haven't touched it since. But with max lock picking, you can find them a lot in the chests. |

| i'm on 4/5 to, and i came across a zombie with a gold weapon. i looted it from him but no achievement. Does only the ones in boxes count or ? |

| Personally I used the first TA Solution for this achievement and it worked brilliantly. Ran it at work and while sleeping. If you don't have a wired controller you can use a plug and play to the same effect. Good luck. |

thats strange since im in act 2 and i have found 7 gold weapons.
Every time I turn on the game, i make my rounds to try and find a new and better weapon that matches my new level.
Each time I start off I fast travel to Bungalow 6, then to the lighthouse and drive to the gas station near the tunnel to the city.
so thats 3 chest in the bungalow
2 chest from the guy that makes a Molotov for you (on the road to the gas station, between the arean tunnel and the station)
5 in the station area. keep the good stuff, sell the crap and then continue on your missions. |
