| I had been looking at the Pro-style Rock Band content for about six months, all along just waiting for a release date, until just recently I realized that it came out nearly a year and a half ago. Regardless of feeling like an idiot now, I still am very interested in purchasing the pro guitar, even though it is a little pricey. I was just wondering if I could get any reviews from other gamers and not from some jive who is just filling out a review on Wal-Mart's website because he sucks at the game and felt like ranting. Any feed-back I can get will be very appreciated! |

Question : Can you play the guitar right now?
If yes, how many of the songs in the set list do you want to learn?
If no, do you want to use this as a tool to help your learning? |

| I've had the Pro Guitar for a few months now, and I love it. I can't play a real guitar if my life depended on it, and I still do fairly well at Hard Pro Guitar and can do a decent amount of Expert Pro Bass, so skill is definitely not required. I think it's worth the price I paid on sale for $80, but $140... I wouldn't say no, but it's borderline at that price. |

| I paid $60 for mine. I'm enjoying it, but I'm going to warn you it is very difficult. I've had mine for about a month and can comfortably play medium bass and guitar. It takes some learning but it's definitely worth the reward you get from it. Also the ratios for the achievements aren't bad either. |

I got my rarest achievement from this game.
For interest - I can confirm that when playing on expert the songs are transcribed note-for-note, I learned a few interesting songs from this game like China Grove, and The Look. There's some good songs which are easy to learn too. The Beautiful People, I love Rock N Roll

Should you buy this if you want to learn the guitar? Probably yes.
Should you buy this is you already play the guitar and want to learn a few songs from the set list? Definitely yes. |

| Haha sorry guys my internet was down, thanks for all of the feedback though! Andddd no I can't play guitar for ****, but I'm not necesarily buying this so it will teach me how to play, I just wanted a more integrated Rock Band experience... It turns out though, I was able to get the guitar on Amazon for $100, so it didn't burn as bad as I thought it might, and now I am simply waiting for it to be delivered. |

| That's a good price for a new one. I think you'll enjoy the peripheral. Memories the fret markers on the side of the guitar and which # fret they correspond to. Obviously every single note/button is grey so you need to match your picking hand up with your fretting fingers and everything. |
