Played 2, dumped Ashley for Miranda, and later on after completing the game, dumped Miranda for Tali. Nice that you could do that. My Shepard is a whore, and I like it that way lol |

My primary Shepard is a Vanguard. Background history says he spent his childhood on Earth as an urchin and enlisted in the military at the age of 18. Prior to the events of Eden Prime, his whole squad was eliminated by a Thresher Maw attack on Akuze. The event changed him and he vowed to never let an event like that happen ever again.
I have played through both games as "mostly paragon." When it comes to the bigger decisions (saving lives, sticking to my end of the bargain, righting wrongs, etc), I have selected the paragon options since they feel more appropriate. When it comes to smaller decisions and certain dialogue options and interrupts, I use the more intimidating options. I can't always be a nice guy.
The only casualty since the events of Akuze was Gunnery Chief Ashley Williams. Finding Corporal Toombs was nice, but the two of them don't seem to see eye-to-eye since Shepard was shoehorned into working for Cerberus. |

| My first play through I went almost strictly Paragon, however, in my more recent play through's I've gone with mostly Renegade. I have become a bit of a cynic (in the games universe) as of late, so it just fits. |

Also, I play the mostly Paragon route. I mean you can't always be civil and allow those reporters to go without a punch to the face |

My Paragon points were always full by the end of the game, but that doesn't mean I didn't have a healthy amount of Renegade points built up as well. I always had the Paragon answer available to me, and the Renegade about 1/2 the time.
HybridPK has it exactly right. You can't always be a nice guy... :) |

Honestly I typically go both ways, but there wasn't an option for it in the poll. I have a paragon Shepard and a renegade one, both started in ME1. However there are some points in the game where I do renegade every time just cause, like killing the council haha  |

My original Shepard (Dev Shepard) is vastly paragon, with some minor renegade moments when idiots give me the shites, but for the vast majority of the time Dev Shepard is so righteous and morally straight he would make a lesser person vomit.
I have also played through as a complete ass (renegade) which is super fun.
Once ME3 had a release date, I played through both ME & ME2 as a paragon and a renegade to refresh my memory of how things went. Also, now I can see both Dev Shepard (Paragon) & Devo Shepard's (Renegade) conclusions in ME3.
I've got the Friday off work and am about to sink 30+ hours into the game over 3 days. It'll be like I am a student again. lol. |

My Shepard is always a shining example of a pure Paragon, I just have major problems in going evil. I've tried to do Renegade/Dark Side/etc runs in the past in various games and I just have a really hard time doing it, I can make it as far as the end of the prologue before I decide that I can't stand to be that evil and change to a good run.
If there are evil achievements I'll get them, but it'll either be by doing it and then reloading a prior save or by doing a very challenging for me evil run where I end up doing everything good except for the specific things I need to do to get the achievements. Out of the some 10 or so completions of Mass Effect I have, I've yet to do a full Renegade... got the 75% that I needed and then switched. |

| Here is to hoping there is a sneaky piece of DLC that requires you to have had the same relationship through the 3 games. Like there was in ME2 for Liara. |

| I've almost never made a big decision in Mass Effect with a Renegade choice. So I'm counted as a Paragon Shep. Some Renegade interrupts in 2 were fun though. ;> |

| On my “real Shepard” play though I get really involved with the game and try to make my decisions as closely as I can guess I would make them if the situation was real. Overall I do make some Renegade decisions in the heat of the moment, but overall I am “Mostly Paragon.” |

| All renegade, all the time. No good reason for it, I just happened to start that way in ME1 and never stopped. Someday I'll go back to 1 and run a character up through all 3 going paragon, but that will be when I'm just running through to clean up achievements I missed. |
