Kinect horse riding may not be so exciting, but Kinect fighting a dragon? Sounds promising
When last we heard about Lionhead Studios' upcoming Kinect title, Fable: The Journey, it was to deliver the news that the game would feature no melee combat. That was back in August. Now, over half a year later, a handful of screenshots for the title have emerged showing us the game's more magical nature.

Not much else is known about Fable: The Journey at this point, but it should be released some time in 2012. |

| Since you are on a horse/in a carriage most of the time (not sure which one really), I hope it lets me sit in a chair to play it |

This might just shape up to be a really great Kinect game. And while it is true this isn't a "real" Fable also means in my opinion that it won't hurt the original trilogy.
We still haven't had our "killer-app" Kinect title in my opinion so I'm looking forward to this not taking note what the nay sayers have to say |

| No wonder that two of the Fable creators left and opened a new game studio, I guess they didn't care at all about this boring rail shooter project. |

The issue with the Kinect is that motion control is a far less complicated input mechanism than a gamepad. To use the Kinect, you need to boil down a game to very basic components and map those to a half a dozen mad flails. It's this reason, coupled with the Kinect's existence as a motion gimmick, that will prevent any quality titles from ever being released for it.
If you want to shift the paradigm, this will probably be a good Kinect game, but will still fail to compare to any halfway decent game that uses a good old gamepad controller. |
Potatoes are friggin' magical. Can you power an alarm clock with a carrot? No, sir. |

| A Fable game that I might actually skip? Ugh...the only thing I seem to use Kinect for nowadays is to yell at it and tell Netflix to pause and play while I'm exiting/entering a room. Otherwise, it's gathering dust ._. |

Gunstringer was really awesome and was even thrown in with some Kinects, but you have to get Kinect in the first place to appreciate it. |

| Can't say I will ever believe a single thing Peter Molyneux says. After admitting he completely "made up" features he never planned on putting in games just to keep his upcoming games in the press, can't say I listen to ANYTHING he says. I'll just wait for the reviews of what actually got put in his games. |

| I got a kinect recently and I mostly ignore it. This game looks better than the other games I have for the kinect. I'll grab it the first time it goes on sale. |
