These braaaiiinnnns have some heart
We still don't know what kind of game Telltale's The Walking Dead will really be. The development studio may fear zombie infestation, but they've never been scared to do their own thing when it comes to a game's genre. Whether it be a niche point-and-click adventure, or a QTE-laden story, they have a history of disregarding conventional wisdom and doing things the way they want to, for better or worse. They usually prioritize story and storytelling over actual gameplay. This new trailer displays the attention given to frantic moments that look like they could be plucked right out of the comic or TV series.

Their newest title promises to give the player full control of their character (which is rare for their games) but it also makes a point to stand out from the plethora of bloodbaths already available on the market. Reading the FAQ on Telltale's website reveals a lot about the game. For one, it won't be full of quicktime events like Jurassic Park: The Game. Also, it reveals how long each of the five episodes will be, saying:
Skilled players will get through an episode on about 2 hours. Having episodes of this length means that most people will be able to get through them and we want that to happen. The game is not designed to present super-hard barriers and will not force you to grind through it in any way. We want you to complete an episode so that you’ll experience the story and be ready for the next episode.Look for more news on The Walking Dead as we approach episode one's spring release.

Not happy about 2 hour episodes at all. VERY HAPPY no quick time events!
Pleased with the shows finale as well.
I just hope season 3 will be better overall than 2. 2 really was a let down IMO. |

| even though it only would take 2 hrs to complete each episode, still looks like a good game & I enjoy the games that Telltale puts out. |

Will definately play this! Big fan of the show and the comics.
I Agree with CounterInsurgnt on the show though. Season 2 wasn't exciting at the beginning really but the last 3 episodes I thought were great! Bring on season 3! Bring on.... The Governer! |

| Looks cool and I love the show but sounds as if they are just going to live off the reputation to sell games and not bring much challenge. |

...Dammit, Telltale. Make it fucking Point & Click. You're good at that. I won't mind at all, seeing it'll add more life in this DURR HURR SHOOT DEM ZOMBIES world we live in.
Deadlight is straying away from the herd, you should too. |

I just hope season 3 will be better overall than 2. 2 really was a let down IMO.Yeah, I was getting really bored of the farm, the show finally picked up pace with the last couple episodes!
Can we see an actual gameplay trailer plz TT? Does the gameplay suck, and is that why your trying to build up hype with other videos? |

| 5 episodes? Is there going to be a season pass or something? I hate XBLA downloads, because I like to trade games. |

| ok so would anyone agree that the price should only be 400 msp or 560 at the most? if it's going to be episode by episode and at about 2-3 hours for 1 playthrough then 800 or higher msp would be too much i think. |

Consider that a new release movie is what 480? And that is also 2 hours.
What they need to do is a season pass. Or 400-600 points
I refuse to pay 800 per episode. |

Very excited for season three. Season 2 started pretty slow but the last few episodes got me pumped up. Have they said how much its going to be yet? because I agree that for 2 hours of game time it dosen't matter how much I love the series, thats just to high. I just bought the KoA: Reckoning DLC for 800 and thats supposed to add 4 hours just doing the main questline. |
