There will be spoilers in my post, but please do not give any spoilers past Zeke (the first boss) because that's where I am in the game.
I'm a bit confused here. I just ran through all choices when confronting Zeke in the Sarif Manufacturing Plant. One choice is obviously the wrong one. It's the other two I am wondering about.
Now tranquilizing Zeke and saving Josie after choosing to fight him SEEMS to be the best choice. However, if I talk him down, let him go and save Josie I get more experience points. What gives here? Surely letting Zeke go and then saving the Josie after talking him down can't be better than tranq'ing him and saving Josie, yet we get more EXP for doing just that. |

| just choose which choice you want(make him decide to let her go is what id say you do) and stick with that kind of choice for the rest of the game. |
Remember, science rhymes with compliance. Do you know what doesn't rhyme with compliance? NEUROTOXIN |

| Yeah, I plan on doing that. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me getting more EXP for what doesn't seem like the best choice. This is part of the reason I prefer to not have any dialogue choices in my games lol. Thx for the info. |

There are no wrong choices in the game just do what you think suits the type of character you want to play as. Most of the times you have to make choices in the game you will not really see the consequences until later on. So what seems like a great thing to do might not end up feeling like that later on. When u find out the consequences of your choice.
Your question about the choice in the part with Zeke basically cannot be answered without spoiling anything to you.
If you are worried about getting all achievements, then unless you started on Legend you will have to do at least one more playthrough during which you can get the ones you missed. |

Thanks for the info. I try to get as many achievements as I can on my first play through, but I really don't care how many I get. Under the advice of some peeps in the last thread I made about Deus Ex a few weeks ago, I am just going to play my first playthrough on normal and try to get the most out of the game and not try too hard at any one style of play (though I am finding the stealth aspect a lot of fun and I wish I'd have started on the hardest difficulty setting lol). But I'm sure I won't mind playing it again. It's been great so far.
Thanks again for the info. |

| Something to keep in mind about Deus Ex - it likes to reward unconventional solutions. Letting Zeke go isn't the easiest, especially if you don't have the social (CASIE) aug so you get the best rewards for that one. However there are clearly moral reasons for not doing so. But it's also easy to screw up conversations when trying to get the "best" solution so it's a very risk/reward thing, which is why I like it so much. |
Looking to boost any MP achievements I don't have for any game I own. |
