The news isn't as painful as the headshots in these new screens
City Interactive's Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was zoomed in on an end of June release, as far as we knew. However, today the developer/publisher announced the new, official release date for the game. If you want a legitimate sniping experience on the impressive CryEngine 3, you'll need to wait a bit longer. The game is now due out at the end of August.
In the meantime, you can fill the sniping void with these high calibur rounds, shown here in this new trio of impressive screens. Thanks to the new engine, the sequel looks a lot better than the first game.

I do like me some snipering, but the first one was a bit meh, so don't know how to feel about this.
Delay doesn't necessarily bode well either.... |

Wasn't really on my radar until I saw the screen-shots, but they look great.
If they can really capture the atmosphere, patience and the like of being a sniper then I may just give it a go. |

| I am not bothered by the news. There where some annoying aspects in the first game that make me not want to even ooh at the second. |
