A list of the many game modes too
http://www.trueachievements.com/Persona-4-The-Ultimate-....htm is set two months after the events of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. One of Persona 4's returning protagonists, Kuma, is promoting the P-1 Grand Prix, a fighting program on television. His promotional videos suggest that various characters from the world of Persona 3 and Persona 4 will be taking part. The only problem is that he forgot to tell the characters that they would be taking part in this show. To find out exactly what is going on, the characters enter the world within the television.
As Famitsu has uncovered, players initially assume the role of Yu Narukami in the story mode, which begins with a reunion between Yu and his friends and family. Other characters that are unlockable from the start are Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko. More characters will be unlocked as the story progresses, but the figure for the total number of playable characters still remains a closely guarded secret.
Here are some screenshots from the story mode:

The story mode is just one of eight gameplay modes available in the game. The full list can be seen in this screenshot taken from the main menu:

Although details on these modes are yet to be revealed, I'm intrigued to learn what exactly is the difference between Lesson Mode and Training Mode. Network Mode also sounds quite intriguing. We'll bring you more details as we find them!
Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena is due to be released on August 2nd, 2012 in Japan. The release date for other regions is still Summer 2012.

| Incase no one knows this, Kuma's name in the English version of Persona 4 is Teddy. Aka the Bear that lives inside the TV World. |

The story looks similar to BlazBlue, which I didn't find to be that great. Then again I know better than to play fighters for story given most of them make very little sense. If you can play straight through the actual story unlike BB however I'll be happy.
Hopefully the fact it is a continuation doesn't mean they are ditching the original style, we need more JRPG's. |
You seem a little furious... |

| I don't think you need to worry about them ditching the original style, apparently they have been working on Persona 5, and there's Persona 4 the Golden coming to PS Vita which is the original style, this one looks as if it's more of a fun story, where they probably go into the TV world and are like "Hey, we can have a fighting tournament in here!" so it wouldn't be something a JRPG could do anyways, its not often this series has direct sequels anyways. |

I couldn't follow anything in that other than the one guy was fighting against this military group and a catgirl had a fixation on a pair of giant tits.
ANYTHING has got to be a better a story than that horrible game.

If the former then YAY!. If the latter, then it might as well not even exist. |

| It's listed as a PS3 exclusive at the moment, but you know that could change if this does well probably. |

| I would buy Persona 5 in a heartbeat on 360. They could also take as much of my money as they wanted for a 360 port of Persona 3 & 4. |
