Hack and slash your way through 400 gamerscore
UPDATE: After much (MUCH!) confusion, Major Nelson has today tweeted out that one more game is coming to XBLA this Friday.
The Walking Dead Episode 1: A New Day Developer: Telltale Games Publisher: Telltale Games Price: 400 MSP
Episode one of a five-part game series set in the same universe as Robert Kirkman’s award-winning series. Play as Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. Experience events, meet people and visit locations that foreshadow the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes. A tailored game experience – actions, choices and decisions you make will affect how your story plays out across the entire series. Additional episodes available as downloadable content.Xbox.com
Original Story: This week's Arcade NEXT release is probably the most under-the-radar of the four, but that's only because the other three are coming in with huge credentials for their games. Trials is one of the highest selling games on XBLA ever, Fable is from the famed minds at Lionhead Studios, and Minecraft is, well, Minecraft. This one is a brand new IP though, and for it being under-the-radar, it's still more well known that this week's other sneaky release.
Bloodforge Developer: Climax Studios Publisher: Microsoft Studios Price: 1200 MSP
With a brutal combat system, stunning art style, and a deeply compelling story, Bloodforge empowers you to slaughter hordes of demonic soldiers, deformed worshippers, and the gods themselves, using ferocious Rage Kills, devastating Rune attacks, and furious Weapon Combos. Help seal Crom’s fate – and the fate of the rest of the world – in this dark, visceral story of revenge, betrayal, and destiny.Xbox.com
Deep Black: Episode 1 Developer: Biart Company Publisher: 505 Games Price: 800 MSP
A Sci-fi project featuring detailed, action-packed underwater combat which will introduce a new trend in the TPS genre. An Exciting game play that features the dynamic use of both environments for combats: land and underwater. An original multiplayer mode with underwater battles that offer the player a totally different and new experience! Players will descend the murky depths in pursuit of enemies armed with a selection of underwater equipment that range from a specialized suit with jet pack and integrated harpoon as well as other high tech equipment. With the majority of the game play taking place below the water's surface, action-adventure fans will need to master new skills to fight hostile enemies and to infiltrate enemy bases. The story line takes place in the nearest future in a world of unsteadiness, chaos, espionage, terrorism and the desperate fight for world supremacy and possession of sophisticated biological weaponry.Xbox.com |

Trials are going to be queued up, was interested in both before hand but won't be jumping the gun any time soon given a few disappointments.
EDIT: Looking back to the Walking Dead forum a guy said that the guy behind the comics said the 25th, between that and the latest comic saying the game had already been out is this just some kind of mistake? Just wondering. |

| Has Jonathan Blow commented on these two releases? I need to know if they're artistic enough for me to consider playing them. |
