Who says noir is only for New York?
Though New York City is normally regarded as the primary and almost exclusive city for all things noir -- rain, cigarettes, inner monologues, etc. -- Rockstar has been out to challenge that notion lately. After they visited Los Angeles circa 1947 in L.A. Noire, they've now taken Max Payne out of New York (mostly) and into Sao Paulo, Brazil. So you think Max's Hawaiian shirts can't be noir? Try telling that to Max. Go ahead. I dare you. See how he responds.

The wait is nearly over, if you can believe it. After countless delays, rumors, and assets, Max Payne 3 is finally due for release next month on May 15th in North America and May 18th elsewhere. |
