Im sure this will/has come up before, had a search but couldn't find anything immediately in the threads....
Currently there's 'no feedback', pos, neutral, neg when responding to sessions... and its pretty ambiguous where things lie.. A back up can get negative feedback because they where present in the session ( despite not being requested to be there)... and some of the negative feedback is still a bit meh...
so an idea : Feedback changed to : Attended : Positive : Player was there & assisted in the session Negative : player was there but unhelpful/dicked about..
No Show : player didnt show, didnt message to say was not showing..
Backup : set by the host.. overrides feedback by other players & so feedback doesnt get included.
From the above. if a player shows, they can only get pos or neg feedback based on their in-session methods..
If they dont show; & to stop manipulating of scores perhaps requires over 50% or similar to count against the player; they get this selected..
If a backup, the host chooses this, It overrides other selections because the host knows who they invited & who didn't join. The 'backup' potentially has the biggest area for manipulation of scores by groups of friends over others (cant make it, host sets to 'backup'.. maybe a new join section to say theyre backup?) The other issue is that the host doesnt set this flag..... Maybe a bigger area of concern is that feedback score number, & somepeoples want of a larger number than others?
From the above, if a gamertag gets a certain number of unique 'No Show' for a session OR over an amount per period of time, it then has the detrimental effect of getting a 'No Show' Badge for that period of time, and unable to join sessions without the hosts permission.. |
