Our first DDoS attack...
Good morning all
I just wanted to let you know what was happening when the site was offline for some time this morning.
We were subject to our first ever DDoS attack which took down the server for around an hour from 10am BST, as well as a couple of minutes at around 2am BST.
I am working on some preventative measures to stop this from happening again, which has included blocking a lot of IP addresses - if you ever find you can't access the site then please send us a direct message on our Twitter - @TrueAchievement and we'll endeavour to get you sorted as quickly as possible.
It's also useful to follow this account to be kept up to date if the site is down for any reason.

Protip, use cloudflare, dont faff about banning botnet IPs. |
