| Man I should live in the US. Look at these prices. Most are at least 10 bucks cheaper than the same games in euro's here. Factor in the exchange rate, and, well let's just say I could make a killer deal if I ever went on a trip to the US. Too bad they're not a PAL region, those games would be useless here. |

When we first started this as a weekly feature, about 17 months ago, it was decided by the newshound manager then, that this article should "go live" on Tuesdays, as those were typically slower news days. This was also a good day to do it, because when we first started, Amazon had a habit of not price-matching anything until Tuesday morning, so I could quickly update the article with any deals Amazon decided to throw up that morning with their price-matches.
Everything changes and evolves, and eventually Amazon got into a pattern of Sunday to Saturday deals like all of the other major retailers.
I realize this makes the Gamestop deals in this post more of a reminder than news, but that's just the nature of them being off-cycle with everyone else.
I hope that answers your question on why this is published on Tuesdays, and to answer the question about moving it I don't foresee that happening in the near future. |

The Wal Marts around here have plenty of copies with the sticker, so I don't think you need to worry too much about not finding one!
...as for the GameStop ads running Wed-Tues, what are the chances you can run a reminder in the Tuesday news post, then UPDATE it on Wed with the new GS deals? Personally I get the emails every Wed, but updating would at least get the word out a little more conveniently to the masses. |
