| I made 5 different cakes, on 2 different servers and for some reason the achievement will NOT unlock for me.... i even tried farming and getting everything myself instead of using a friends and nothing happened. |

I tried clearing my cache, and even re-installing the game just now and it still didn't unlock
and now its about 7 cakes on 3 different servers. :(

| Read the solutions on here, sugar grows near water (Does not grow in the tutorial world) wheat is grown from seeds. |

| I was, I made (and ate) a cake using ingredients that someone gave me and it didn't pop. Am now on a quest to grow and get the stuff myself in my own world. Maybe you have the same problem? |

I did not pop 3 achievements thus far (not the right names)
Kill a monster
Make bread
Ride the rails
I'm pretty disappointed there doesn't seem to be any info on what the hell is causing this yet :(

Edit #2 : It appears this happens most often when you have played split screen with someone who has achievements you don't. Once they leave the game, you still won't be able to unlock the achievements. |

Here is a fix for those of you plagued with not getting achievements in Minecraft specifically because you played splitscreen with someone who unlocked the achievement first. Using the fairly commonly known USB trick, you can fix the problem by resetting your Minecraft stats. Here's how:
1. Put your GamerTag/Profile on a USB/Memory Card.
2. Log in to Xbox Live.
3. Launch Minecraft.
4. At the 4J Studios screen, pull the USB stick.
5. Your xbox will tell you to put the card back in, don't yet.
6. Pick play Game (you should get an error about not being able to load your profile). continue.
7. Once in the game, put your USB back in the system.
8. Pause and Exit. Will ask you if you want to save -- I picked yes, though I doubt this matters.
9. Log back in to LIVE (pulling your USB should have logged you out).
10. Perform the action you need to get an achievement -- it should pop.
Hope this helps some people, it fixed it for me =) |

| Well this does me no good since the new xboxes do not fit usb into its slots and I am not about to spend more money on top of 20.00 I spent on the damn game to fix a mistake they made. I am glad I waited on Bloodforge cause that has 2 glitched achievements since day 1. So thats counts for 2 xbox first 400 pt. games screwed up on release. Rush games this is what happens. Shakes her head and back to work. |

ALL xboxs (afaik) have multiple USB ports. |
