This was one of the most difficult completions I have because of the missables! It took three playthroughs because if you happen to miss ONE conversation or don't kill enough of a specific enemy a specific way you void getting Corona. You need an amazing walkthrough and to constantly check progress to go for the 1000. I figured this would serve as a warning to anyone who thinks this game may be an easy 1000 haha.

Agreed. I managed to complete this game in one playthrough, but only by using the Brady Games guide and following it VERY carefully. Actually had to restart a previous save a couple of times because of missing one thing or another. Bitch of a completion for sure.

I think Legend in Rise of the Argonauts is missing the Main Storyline flag. Unfortunately the Cumulative and Missable flag are, in most cases, exclusive. I have removed a number of Cumulative flags and tried to preserve the Missable flag where I deemed it important. So while killing 100 soldiers for the prerequisite of an achievement is Cumulative, the actual achievement isn't.

Could you go over the flags as they are now and give me some feedback please? I would especially be interested in the "Words of [God]" achievements. Do they have to be in one playthrough? Are they exclusive meaning those from one god will disappear based on your choices? Can you save and replay a certain part and it will pop after repeating the same sequence over and over?

I wasn't sure if I should have included 'Legend' as storyline since it was difficulty based, but I see it was added as such so I will take that into consideration for future submissions! Please also change 'Hero' to storyline based as it is the same as 'Legend' and 'Human'.

The cumulative flags in this game were tricky. I tried to classify the constellations that had a part of it as 'cumulative' as such, but I can understand why we wouldn't want that flag with the missable flag.

The 'Do X to XX # of enemies with X' I did tag as missable due to the limited number of enemies in the game and the fact you can overwrite a save to a point where you can no longer get the achievements without replaying from the start to obtain. I know there were a few I missed my first playthrough.

The "Words of [God]" achievements can all be obtained in one playthrough with the right choices, but technically are all missable if you only choose one God a response (which is unlikely since you are forced between two God choices at times). It only counts responses after save points so you cannot reload one part of the game and chose different options then reload. There are a lot of choices available and you only need 5 each which is not much. Getting one achievement will not void others as long as you follow a guide to get the needed choices throughout the game.

Again, you REALLY need a checklist and walkthrough to get all the the achievements in one playthrough if you intend to 1000 this game. I cannot stress this enough!

Also, just to clarify, as far as I am aware none of the achievements carry over from one playthrough to the next. Each achievement must be gotten within that playthrough. It's pretty confusing, though, how many of the achievements tie into other achievements. Missing one achievement can make it impossible to get several others.

As said above, checklists and walkthroughs are a MUST for this game. Especially since it's not really good enough to play through it multiple times - LOL.

I have added the flag to Hero. So just we are crystal on this, The "Kill X with Y" achievements to not carry over and are not saved on your gamertag, meaning you could replay from a checkpoint? When you say limited, can you provide an example? As for them being missable, couldn't they all be gotten in the first fight? How about God Powers?

Not sure if checkpoint reloading will work in this game for the "Kill X with Y" achievements. However, you can get most of them right at the beginning when you are in the Training Room. You can do the various training sessions as many times as you like until you get these achievements.

That makes them unmissable then! wink I remember that part and am sure I lasted less than an hour with this game! We changed the "Words" achievements to Missable rather then Cumulative. It seems best to go with "rather safe than sorry" in the case of this game. Thank you for your help!

For the record, reloading checkpoints does not count towards ANY cumulative total. Kill and choice progress is not saved until a checkpoint so reloading will void everything after a checkpoint. The main reason I said the kill achievements are missable is because of the limited enemies in the game. Also, the only achievement that can be gained from training is the 'Nut Cracker' for breaking shields. The others are executions and you cannot 'kill' the trainees to get them at the start. ;) Just so people are aware.
