Hey all, I've created a boosting session, a couple of people have joined but others (that I previously boosted with) are being blocked from joining the session?

It's not an Application request, it's an open session and the second one I've setup for this that has done it.

Any advice?

When you remove people the system blocks them from that session.

This is crazy...

Surely we should be able to create a session and then be able to edit the session without having to delete everyone and re-invite them, and if we do re-invite them, they should't be blocked.

I just needed to extend the time, which was agreed with the people in the session and now this will be the third session I've had to create.

If it hasn't been added to the Site Wish List, it should be...

The reason you arent allowed to edit with gamers in there is because not everyone checks TA regularly, so they sign up for a predetermined time and not come back onto TA.

As for blocking id agree that maybe there should be a choice to NOT block when you remove someone (With blocking being the default and NOT being a check at the remove) but the blocking is there so if you remove someone who you dont want in the session they cannot rejoin, which used to happen a fair bit.

Fair points...all things can be improved though.

Lets say the system was changed so that a session organiser could edit their session, add remove specific achievements, increase\decrease session length etc and on saving changes, a PM would be automatically sent to all the people in the session. This PM would advise them of the changes made, this would give them the opportunity to leave if it wasn't what they wanted.

This new system would restrict changes to the session, say 48-72 hours before the session to allow people time to decide if they still want in.

We already have the option to set the session to Apply Only, which allows us to restrict who joins, but it would also be good to have the option you mention of being able to block\leave in session if removed.

It seems that the safeguards outweigh the ease of use, but that's just from where I'm sitting :)

A work around for the editing is to get the gamers to leave instead of removing them.

Yeah that would be easier than deleting and recreating the session for sure.

Can the admins re-add someone who was accidentally removed from a gaming session?
