| How many features does Lionhead say are going into games before they come out 80% different? Rumors are rumors. If it does have co-op, I hop it runs like Tales of Vesperia or FF9. Other players can help out in battle. I don't see Bioware completely junking the RPG elements and storytelling of Mass Effect. That's their strength, why would they run away from it? Adding features to games more often than not makes everything feel watered down to me. Focus on what you're good at and deliver. |

| Maybe like timeshift online, you freeze an area and everywhere else is not frozen |

| In timeshift that's a method for combat, though. In mass effect the game would have to freeze every time someone wanted to select a move, which would probably be every few seconds unless everyone's playing Soldiers. |

My understanding is that they are not going to dump the RPG elements or storytelling in ME2. I really loved all the story line options, and my understanding is that all of that will still be there, just with a beefed up shooter experience.
I had been hoping for a more dramatic/time senstive mission. The trailers made it seem like you had a choice between missions/plantes. If you didn't go to one planet right away, opting to go to a different planet, it would be destroyed or the people would die, choose planet A, and planet B dies. In the game there was no decision like that. Basically every mission excluding the very beginning and very end, was available at anytime, leaving you free to get around to it whenever you wanted. Thats fine and most, or even 99%, of the missions should be like that. But I think having one mission like that would be great and add remorse or regret to the playing experience, similar to the player’s choice between Kadien or Williams, and invest the player more emotionally in the game.
Lastly, I’m really excited to see how your choices in the first game reflect the story in ME2. I’ve been waiting a long time for a studio to include this in a sequel, and maybe I’ve just been playing the wrong games, but I haven’t seen it successfully done. |

There's a few very minor exceptions where some dialog pieces might be different (KOTOR 2) but I've never heard of any sequel being different based on how you played the first. |

KOTOR 2 was the only game that I had played that tried to do this to any extent. But even then it was based less on what you actually did in the first KOTOR and more on what dialog choices you selected in KOTOR 2. I look forward to loading up some of my different ME saved games to see all the different possibilities in ME2 |
