Buggy, not story related, it's been reported people unlocked this without doing all the character quests for the only one you're not forced to do them all in. You do not have to do all the quests to complete the story, only that of 3 characters.

Should not be flagged as "buggy" at all. It pops when it's supposed to, no problems. I think what may throw people off is that if you catch Zombie A on fire, and Zombie A catches Zombie B on fire causing B to die, you don't get credit for killing B. However, the stats screen shows how many zombies actually died in the stage, not how many YOU killed.
Not sure why this is flagged as "buggy." I did it with no problems and it popped when it was supposed to. I searched around online, no reports anywhere of it glitching. There's not even any comments on here saying it screwed up. I think whoever flagged it may not have realized that you need to switch characters a few times to get all of the quests.

| There are no solutions / comments / anything for it on here. I looked on X360A, nobody mentioned any glitches there. I did a Google search, didn't find anything. |

| I have found a cached copy of the solution that seems to suggest the latter achievement was buggy: http://m.trueachievements.com/viewcomment.aspx?commentid=421726#vch |

The only thing that cached page shows is that it's missable, which I won't debate. Yeah, if you don't do the quests when they pop up, you could miss this achievement. However, I still say it's not buggy.
You actually don't need to do the third quest Rachell gives you, making the flame trower. Posted by DGC BrotherHood on 16 Mar 12 00:23:03
The quest "story" says you need to get the gas canister in order to make a flamethrower, but the quest actually ends when you get the gas canister (the quest is basically an introduction to level 2 crafting). So, based purely on the "flavor text", this quest does end early, but it's still not early enough to pop the achievement since you have to do other stuff after that. |

Fraid not, the game continues over at the end and you cun upgrade it, i got a level 2 shotgun instead of the flamethrower and didn't get it early, the comments suggest it's possible to get it wothout doing the entire requirements hence buggy for unlocking early.
I know this because i tested it out. |

I did the quests when they popped up, so I had no issues there. Someone on the page said they couldn't do a quest after they beat the game, so maybe that's true - so, missable? Maybe, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
The quest in question plays out like this in the story:
1 - Get a gas canister. 2 - Use it to make a flamethrower. 3 - Burn tires.
However, the quest requirements are only "get the gas canister", so you could indeed use it with your shotgun, or you could do absolutely nothing with it, and the quest would still be complete. Steps 2-3 are just flavor. |

Thank you all for your contributions. We have proceeded to remove the Buggy flag from A Legion of Zombies in All Zombies Must Die! as by your suggestion.
We have, however, left it on Getting to know each other in All Zombies Must Die! considering the solutions that were up at some point stating that it was unlocking prior to meeting the requirements. |

This achievement is not buggy, people just don't know exactly what to do. The guide currently on TA says exactly what to do in the last mission (were everyone gets stuck). I did exactly as it said and had no problem getting the achievement.

The achievement is flagged Buggy because the achievement can unlock early without completing all character quests. Therefore, there is nothing negatively wrong with the achievement and it unlocks fine at the latest when all stated requirements have been met. We hope this explanation made it clearer for you?
Nevertheless, thank you for your submission! |
