All the lore and reading you could ask for
For those of you who enjoy Collector's Editions for your games, Ubisoft has just announced the first of hopefully many different editions for gamers in the US. With Europe getting their own editions, Ubisoft has announced the "Ubiworkshop Edition" of Assassin's Creed III. This edition comes with a copy of the game, a compilation of the graphic novels detailing the lives of Daniel Cross and Nikolaï Orelov. Daniel Cross is Abstergo's Subject 4, a present day assassin much like Subject 16 and Desmond, with Orelov being his Russian assassin ancestor. This edition also comes with the second edition of the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia.

From what we can see, this will not include any sort of figurine or statue or DLC like the European editions will include, but it's a start. Hopefully sometime around E3 Ubisoft will reveal the rest of the special editions. Assassin's Creed III is due out October 30th, 2012 for US gamers and October 31st, 2012 for the rest of the world.

| Excellent, no figuirines!! (not a fan, obviously). But no DLC?? I'd rather have in-game content more than anything else. |

| As much as I love books and lore, I'm majorly disappointed that we didn't get a figure like the UK/European versions. I wanted that Connor figure darnit! |

| Glad the US is getting a special edition for this. Although I'd completely understand if we didn't, we all know we get the special edition for every game ever and noone else gets one. |

As much as I hate not getting the better special editions here in the US, the rest of the world misses out on tons of shit that we get. As much as it sucks... I suppose it's only fair. |
