These screens look killer
Following on from yesterday's Attack of the Saints trailer for Hitman: Absolution, IO Interactive and Square Enix have released four new screenshots from the game's second mission, titled "The King of Chinatown".
During the mission, Agent 47 is contracted to kill the King, a mobster who owns a district of Chinatown. Amongst the bustling crowd of people enjoying an evening out on the town, you will have to lure the King from his protection of armed guards and innocent bystanders.

Hitman: Absolution will be released worldwide on November 20th. |

| I've never played any Hitman games and I'm beginning to think I'm missing out on something special. |
Smokey, this is not 'Nam. This is bowling. There are rules. |

Personally, I love the Hitman games, though any of the previous entries are going to look dated now. Very dated. One positive for the older games is the voice and music talent that is going to be (sadly) missing in this new installment.
If you don't mind ageing graphics etc. Hitman: Blood Money is definitely worth having a look at, for me the best entry so far (and, of course, it has achievements!) |
You are the Detectives; go... and detect. |

XPhilesinIA said:looks good, but nothing groundbreaking.......First I just wanna say I am not knocking your opinion but just making a observation. This is the problem in a lot of peoples perspectives and such that every game/movie needs to be groundbreaking and original. I would agree with you but then every new series that comes along and tries to be different ends up failing because it can't compete with the games that do repeat and rehash. Ex:Kingdoms of Amalur(not radical but still different) I think some series need to keep the identity they began with and just improve the mechanics more than their identity. An example would be Splinter Cell, they hit their masterpiece in Chaos Theory but then have tried to change what wasn't broken and lost their identity, still good but not even close to the standard set in 2004. I think that Hitman has a certain way of doing things and should just build on what they already created, with absolution I'm gonna go with the new hand to hand combat from what I have seen, and then keep what made it great, the different approaches to achieve the same goal etc, So yeah not groundbreaking but solid and good. Every once in awhile a game should come out and shake up the norm but once that game has its footing it should stick to enhancements and not complete overhauls. Not saying it NEVER works but rarely it succeeds. We as consumers should always look for improvement and innovation and change but when we ask for those things and get them we should support them too. Thats my rant for the day and sorry if i am confusing I can't write my thoughts as well as others. |

OT: Looks great. Finally have a date too, just a shame I'll be occupied by Halo 4 though.
Edging toward making a preorder regardless. |

Nor do we need that honestly. Just give us some well written stories with decent gameplay (for SP) and a fun evenly matched environment for MP. |

| really looking forward to this as I was not able to fully play the last one due to not being able to change the htz on my TV ( has briefly played it on an old crt TV) Shame really because I really wanted to complete it. I'm sure there will be no problem for me with this one though so I am going to pre-order. |
