Experience the freedom of the open road
In the new gameplay video for Forza Horizon we are introduced to the concept of skill points. One of the main goals in Forza Horizon is to become the most popular driver. Learning how to gain skill points will help you become the best driver around.
The trailer also highlights Kinect integration, as was already discussed in a previous article. Forza Horizon also introduces night time and dynamic weather. Seeing how shifting light reflects off the car models is a joy for the eyes.

| Floodlight (? whatever you say in English) of the cars at night looks weird from behind. I don't know if that's how it would look like if you follow a real car at night from that perspective but it surely looks weird to me :D |

Looks to me like they're about to ruin Forza :(
'Skill points', free roam, chases through traffic, shitty drifts...
Its a shame that they finally add night and weather, but to this. I'm not writing it off yet but it looks doubtful to me. |

| Being from Colorado, I can honestly say they've done well with the scenery. This game looks so damn impressive thus far. The guy presenting it does a superb job. I'm VERY impressed. It really all comes down to how intense the Bucket List like achievement will be, as the deciding factor in me getting this game or not. |

I'm not sure which way to go on this one. I've got every achievement in 2/3/4 and I love the track racing side of things, what's worrying me is the open-world ness of it all, I'm just not sure about it all.
I might be waiting for a demo for this one before making my mind up.
Either way though, those graphics look amazing, and the night time looks awesome. |

Doesn't look like any music festival I've been to! Where's the horrible weather, the cars (& tractors) getting stuck in the mud, the filthy drunken students, and the traffic jams!
That minor point aside, pre-ordering for sure...
If the physics truly is as good as claimed, it should hopefully blow TDU out of the water, and I still love both TDU games and the Forza series (though I wish they'd reimplement the drivatar system from Forza 1 rather than what they have now!) |
