Hey guys,
i'm not searching a virgin for getting this achievement. I tried it yesterday with a friend , using a dummy-account.
But it doesn't unlock :( never heard that this achievement is buggy :(
I played the whole coop on my old xbox and taking the safe-game to my new xbox. (harddrive---> new harddrive)
I've got 49/50 ach.
Anybody got an experience or an idea how to fix it ?! |

unfortunately, you'll have to head To the virgin thread as this achievement does not work in split screen. it has to be done over XBL.

Maybe i should describe my problem in an other way.
I finished the whole coop ( as you can see in my achievements 49/50)
then me and a friend made a dummy-account ( not a local friend a xbox-liev friend, we palyed online !!!) for getting me the professor portal achievement.
We start the calibration course without going in any other chamber. We finished it, but no achievement for me :(
I'm sure i didnt make a mistake .. but i have as i stated above a new xbox and taking my safegame from my old harddrive to a new one :(
Can this cause the bug ?! |

Can be done with 48 hour codes!
Your friends dummy account has never ever played portal 2 before right? They also have to be on your friends list.
The problem most likely lies with your friend, not you. Maybe he accidentally played it with that account once and forgot about it.
Try another account with a 48 hour code.
Also I transferred to a new console too in the middle of playing portal 2. It didn't affect my ability to gain any achievements in the game! |

Another question concerning the Professor Portal achievement.
I thought about every detail that causes the above mentioned bug.
I remembered that i played the whole coop offline .
( I was finishing the calibration course with 4 dummy accounts played on xbox live by friends , not splitscreen)
Do I have to complete the coop online and play than with a virgin ?!
Would be happy if somebody could confirm this , as i really try to figure out what I'm doing wrong ;)

| sounds silly, but did you remember to add his dummy account to your friends? |
