Welcome back, Sam
There has been no shortage of developer interviews pouring out of E3. We've seen so many new names and faces this week, I swear it feels like we're speed dating. Up next, these developers introduce us to a charming, older gentleman named Sam, who likes to take long walks on the beach, finish his evenings with a fine wine, and occasionally break a few necks under the cover of darkness.

| I have never played a Splinter cell game before but when i seen the first trailer for this on Manday at E3 i thought it looked very good. The people in the party with me the time where saying somthing about them changeing the voice of some character in the game made the game not as good anymore but for me personally it will make difference to me as i have got nothing to compare it to so i will probably get it day 1 or there abouts. |
Play for achievements.
Play for fun. |

| Hated Conviction, too far removed from the Splinter Cell of old, and based on the video, this is more of the same. May or may not get this, demo dependent. Will they explain how he is now back in with "the gang" at 3E though? |

EDIT: Far too many numbers and letters there |

| I honestly still can't believe they changed the voice. Change the entire character completely while you're at it Ubisoft, why won't you? Having been with this series ever since the first game came out I just can't stomach it. It's .. just... wrong. First they killed of Lambert's character completely despite giving the player the choice at the end of DA (I saved Lambert of course), now this? They would have to include the original Pandora Tomorrow or Chaos Theory version of spy vs merc before I would buy this. |

At first I thought it was a younger version of Sam Fisher, but it seems to take place after Conviction, so I guess Michael Ironside just isn't doing the voice anymore. |

Since Spliter Cell:CT was one of my all time favorites, I'm pretty disappointed with how this is looking. The last one was so NOT Splinter Cell. Also the Spy vs. Merc mode was a great time and it looks like they will diss multiplayer again. Ubisoft needs to rename this franchise out of respect. !!
Just sayin' |

Well, from the looks of things, as always, Ubisoft killed another Great franchise. This isn't splinter cell, just as Conviction wasn't splinter cell. Matter of fact, this is game is so far removed from splinter cell it could have been a rainbow six game.
Top that with absolutely nothing new other than the locations, this could be conviction 2 as it looks, controls, and sounds the same.
The ONLY saving grace for this next chapter is they are bringing back Merc VS Spys. Which shouldn't have been taken out in the first place....the real question is........is this the Merc VS Spys from Double agent (which was pure garbage) or from Chaos Theory (which was an absolute MASTERPIECE) ?
Time will tell but $60 won't. This is a $20 buy at best. |
