So my copy of RE:ORC for GFWL arrived and, having a 6 month old brand new computer and no previous problems with GFWL titles, what could possibly go wrong?
Mega lagging screens. Recommended spec for RAM, processor and memory are fine, so we move onto graphics card. Minimum requirements indicate NVidia GeForce GTX260 or higher; recommended suggests GTX560, and I've got... GT530. Fail.
Can I reduce pixels setting / do anything creative to resolve this? Else, am I stuck with looking for new memory card, which appears to retail at £140? Any help gratefully received!

The only thing i can recommend is to lower the settings of the game itself (Definitions, etc.), you can do this by going into the options that is in the main menu, and keep everything to a minimum and to also use the windows classic setting for visual settings outside of the game this helps to reduce CPU usage on other visual based stuff, this worked for me and just cause 2, i wouldn't suggest changing the resolution of your screen as that doesn't really affect the game.
Good luck |
