I was originally going to put this in the Xbox chat, but I figure it'd be more appropriate here since people's biggest binges may have been more than just 360 games.
Price of the games don't matter, but what's the most games you've purchased in the smallest amount of time? It doesn't have to be in one visit to the game shop/internet... unless you consider that your biggest game buying binge. Maybe you bought 20 games in a month, or 40 games in three months (sounds like something of a binge, right?).
For example, I got my Xbox 360 in March so I've been quickly accumulating games I've either been interested in or games I became interested in as I looked into them more. It's going on about three months now and I have 13 games.
I'm not sure if 13 games in three months is the worst I've done, but I plan on getting the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection this afternoon and The Orange Box if I can find a nice copy cheap enough... so it'll be 15 soon enough. Oh, and The Walking Dead when episode 2 is out.
We'll say 16 or so in three months. Does that sound like a lot?
How about you? What's the worst game buying binge you can recall? |

360 is home to my biggest buying binges by far. I remember a stretch I had last year where it seemed my game collection jumped from about 50 games total to around 150 games very quickly.. like within 2 or 3 months. That was between arcade and retail sales and a few new releases.I'm actually up to around 270 games on my card, with another 50 or so waiting to join.
Not the smartest thing in the world to do, as I'm usually overwhelmed by the stack of things in my "to-do" list, but the up side is having almost endless options when I'm bored of grinding something. |

i bought 11 retail games Thursday & Friday. I tend to splurge every now and then.
I build up my backlog and then occasionally beandive. |

| Around Christmas I bought about 35 games in about a month time. |

My most expensive binge was around $200 when Target had a B2G1 a few weeks back.
For most games in a small amount of time, I bought 12 games for $60 in...I think a 2 week span a couple years ago, all for the 360 I believe. Hollywood video had a sale where any game $29.99 and under was $5. A little bit of a road trip as the furthest store I hit was about an hour and a half away, but it was worth it. |

I picked up a few from Hollywood when a couple local ones closed by me. |

The going out of business sale happened I believe the following year. |

Ah very nice! I kept dragging my feet and by the time I got there, the selection wasn't too great. I also gamed differently back then, so there were some games I avoided thinking I would never bother to complete them. Glad I got over that! |
