Anybody seen any films from 2012 that have been good that they would recommend?
So far I've only seen 5 films made this year...

| Really disappointed by the Dictator. 21 Jump Street is actually pretty funny. Saw Chernobyl Diaries. What a boring turd. I'm surprised you gave Cabin in the Woods only a 5/10. I thought it was refreshingly clever. |

Goon was amazing!
I give it an 8/10 for a comody. At the time of watching it was a 10/10 experience. |

I only remember going to the movies twice this year.
Red Tails and Avengers were both amazing. Highly recommended. |

I think that "Killer Joe" is by far the most impressive film I have seen in the cinema this year. It is one of the best dark comedies to come out in a very long while.
I also loved "The Raid - Redemption".
Hmmm. Something tells me that I have a taste for very violent movies, just by mentioning the two films above.
"The Dark Knight Rises" was an excellent film, although I will agree that it is the weakest in the trilogy. Tom Hardy really knows how to play the role of a villain.
I also enjoyed "Magic Mike" - but then again, that probably has more to do with my attraction to men than anything else.
I was also impressed with "Ted", and this is coming from somebody who really dislikes most of what Seth McFarlane puts out. |
