Try this:
-On the Xbox 360 dashboard, go to the far right menu 'Settings'
-Select 'Profile'
-Select 'Game Defaults'
-Select 'Action'
-Make sure 'Auto-Aim' and 'Auto-Center' are set to Off
I don't have the game so I can't check if those settings affect the game or not, but they might, worth a try. |

| Wait, your console can set profile settings for general groups of games? Maybe I should check there to see what there is that I can mess with... |

| Yes, they've been there since the beginning. I don't really know if they actually work across ALL games, my guess is that they don't, but hey, who knows? |

as for my skill, i would say i am average at a game like splinter cell: conviction. certainly the first three splinter cell games are easier with maybe the exception of double agent, the fourth in the series. yes i do know about the other splinter cells for the handheld devices and i have only played one of those.

I'd be willing to volunteer, I'm ready for it.ha, demons. yeah, suuurrreee.
so, how do i check if i'm running cheating software?Well then your fine. If they haven't said anything about your consol in that long of time almost known as a year. You are in no danger of anything. |

I thought an aimbot was stock in Splinter Cell Conviction? You're granted a cheap autokill aimbot for every melee kill you get, it's just a feature of the game.
Most titles have aimbots preprogrammed anyways. I remember on my MW2 days I had auto aim disabled, but my gun would still "stick" to an enemy and move my screen to follow them if I idled my aim on one too long. It's basically ruined multiplayer on just about everything because you either use auto aim too or you have no chance.

I use an inverted Y axis and maximum sensitivity on shooters, and setting those game defaults saves me the time of doing that every time I pop in a new game. |
