| Howdy. Has anyone else seen in when playing TF2 it looks as though console commands are being submitted to the server? I saw it last night when it appeared that changes were being made to the damage amounts.. |

Yes, there are some. I don't know how they do it (and don't want to know). Most common is gravity changing. Also I encountered games with friendly fire and with all criticals (probably some more, but can't remember). My friend told me that once he joined a game with invulnerable host He had a green ubercharge-like shield around him. By the way, if you join hacked game and then leave and host, your game will be with these changes too... So make sure you quit to dashboard to clear this things. (if you want)
P.S. It's nice to see someone asking about TF2 here |

*shakes head in disbelief* They made it long ago. Nowadays there are a lot less hackers, still you can bump into a game with low gravity or something, but I don't remember the last time it happened. I prefer to host myself though, so I might be missing them |

| Hmm, what is the point... Seems a common hack is only allowing one type of character (or is that an option?). Seems loads of people only like playing as the engineer. Also seemed to fall through the floor on a regular basis when killed. |

Also you can turn on/off Critical hits and Damage spread. When I host, I usually use some class limitations: Demoman - 1,Medic - 1, everyone else - 2. From my long experience it makes the game a little bit more balanced, and preventing some cheap tactics.
Falling through floor when killed is just some kind of lag. Also there is a glitch, which sometimes happens mid-game, when all Demoman projectiles start to fly through floor and walls, which makes Demo almost useless, it's pretty rare though.
The glitch I really hate is so-called skywalking, when Engineers can build a teleport on the skies, and then they build a sentry there. It's really annoying, but you can't do anything even if you are host... :(
Feel free to ask any questions about TF2, I'll try to explain |
