Double your pleasure, double your fun
The Playstation 3 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was hampered yesterday with matchmaking problems after the release of the 1.15 patch on Sony consoles. The issues surrounding it have now been resolved though. What does that mean for Xbox 360 players? Double XP all-around of course! To make up for the recent PS3 issues, Infinity Ward will be conducting a double XP event across all platforms according to a tweet by Executive Producer Mark Rubin.
The double experience should really help those going after that tenth fifteenth twentieth prestige. You can expect the bonus to last from Friday to Monday morning as usual.

Gah! How inconvenient... I always feel that I have to play during these Double XP events if I want to keep my dreams of 20th prestige alive.

So yeah, i'd expect it will be 4x!i am no tso sure about that... at least for me, i had 2xp still active from a token (or something) and i played during a 2xp weekend hping for 4xp and i was only getting 2x... at least that's what my math was telling me. i was getting 300 for flag caps in domination - not 600. |
