Over the past week the channel dedicated solely to the video game industry itself announced their list of the best ever to hit the shelves. What're your thoughts on how it all played out?

| My #1 is Legend Of Dragoon on the PS2. That game needs an HD rerelease and on Xbox for achievements. A beautiful, awesome action RPG with a killer story to boot. Cult classic. 4 discs of pure escapism |

Rock Band 3 at 52 was a nice surprise, but a tad high for my taste.
Nice to see Link to the Past at 2, one of my favorite games of all time.
I think they did good. A couple of strange choices, but overall not bad. |

Spyro 2 was, and always will be one of my favorite games. I think it should've at least been on the list.
Minecraft above Resident Evil? No.
Lot's of others I don't agree with to. |

Surprisingly, the gaming industry is more than 12 years old, and has a long and varied history that had gotten it to the point where Halo could even be released. |

No problems with most of those being somewhere on the list, but:
I see several sports games. Really? On a best ever list?
Angry Birds? I won't even go there...
Prince of Persia: TSoT ranks higher than Gear of War 3, Fallout 3, and Mass Effect 2? They just blew all credibility with that one. |

With a Madden game above it.

| Weis nailed it, for three massive players in video games (Fallout, GoW, and ME franchises) to be ranked below particular games such as movie tie ins, is just wrong, regardless of opinion. Those 3 series are great on plots. They belong above Asteroids or sports games or music games or movie tie ins. |
