Not sure if this has already been mentioned (or implemented in a way that I cannot see), but it would be nice if there was an easier way of knowing if a game's server is no longer up, thus, in many cases, creating unobtainable achievements and/or disallowing online play (and some cases DLC is no longer for sale).
Currently that I know of, the only way to tell is by either scanning the list of achievements or by checking the thread List of Unobtainable and Discontinued Achievements or other threads that mention server closings. Of course, most of these methods will only tell you if there are unobtainable achievements ... there may be some games with no online achievements where online play is secondary and no longer available. Additionally, the thread can be a bit slow to load (my guess is due to all of the page links for the individual achievements). Other threads can be a bear to discover.
What I propose would be a flag/icon next to the game's title on the game's page that would allow at a quick glance someone to know whether or not the game's server is still up. This way, you don't have to go searching the forums or even scroll through the page ... it is in full view as soon as the page loads. |

As helpful as that thread is, I would rather have a flag on the game's page. When I look into purchasing a game (amazon, ebay, whatever), I like to search the individual game and see total GS, total TA, basic community rating and reviews, and if their is a TA walkthrough published or not ... all of which I can see as soon as the page loads.
If there was a flag somewhere near the game's displayed information, I wouldn't have to scroll through the page, analyzing what flags are associated to each achievement, or searching/pulling up threads and discussions that I would have to search through to see if the game is listed was having a closed server. |

| Yes, I would like this, though I never actually buy games for multiplayer itself (unless they're games I already love) it'd be a nice addition for those who play a lot more multiplayer. |
