Giddy-up Death it's time for the Apocalypse!
In the new sequel to Darksiders, Darksiders II, we venture into the apocalypse with Death to face an adventure full of utter chaos and dual blade massacre. Following a parallel story to the one of War in Darksiders, Death faces armies of minions in different light and dark realms trying to redeem his brother, War, who is imprisoned for prematurely starting the Apocalypse.
We have indulged your senses previously with a Death strikes trailer, a behind the mask developer diary and details regarding the collector's edition. Today we bring you a live action trailer entitled The Last Sermon, featuring James Cosmo from Game of Thrones.

Jim Huntley, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing for THQ, had this to say regarding the story of Death and The Last Sermon:
After War is imprisoned for bringing about the apocalypse, Death’s whereabouts are shrouded in mystery. The Last Sermon gives fans an idea of what he may have been up to during that time.
Darksiders II is scheduled to release August 14th in North America and August 17th in Europe. |

I can't see there being a third game. Pestilence and Famine just don't make for catchy titles.
I'm sure fans of Nurgle would say otherwise. |

Pretty funny seeing candles lighting the place then see a chandalier with light bulbs fall from the roof. |

I know "parallel story" might've made that confusing. Regardless, trying to kill death is not a task I would ever be interested in taking on.  |
