| Ok, so yesterday I made my first games on demand purchase from the sale that started yesterday. It downloaded to my hard drive and now I want to move it to my 16 GB flash drive I have already set up for my xbox (I partitioned 5 GB and there is currently 4.1 GB free) But every time I try to move or copy it over, my xbox tells me "there was a problem performing that action". I'd like to buy another game from the games on demand sale but I can't if I cannot move the game to my flash drive. What gives? I had an xbox originals game that moved just fine without complaining. |

| Yes. The game is 3.7 GB and I had 4.1 GB free. My temporary solution was to just empty out the flash drive and download the other game directly to it, because I really don't want to try re-downloading these things since they are such gargantuan files. Since I'm mainly getting them because they are hard-to-find easy achievement games (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs & Surf's Up), I will probably end up deleting them as soon as I finish them but I'd still like to clear up this issue here. Perhaps clearing the cache on the xbox or flash drive could work, but I don't know really. |

Why move them? Theyre linked to your gamertag, Download them as your playing them (you wont be playing them for long anyway)
Theyre not downloaded as a single file, but rather several files, and the number of files might be causing issues within the hack-job that is the USB drive layout (its a filesystem within a group of files that exist on the FAT system).. Seriously, both your games are shit & short (the best combination) so it wont take you long to complete one & move onto the other. |
