Jimmy, you got a tail... Jimmy... Jimmy... he's gone!
Gamers in favour of maneuvering fighter jets and bombers with a flight stick are going to enjoy Mad Catz' Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII. Mad Catz, known more for Tritton headsets and specialty controllers, are taking a shot at the development/publishing game with this WWII flight simulator. Not much is really known regarding Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII, however, we have detailed the pre-order bonus, along with the collector's edition and the initial announcement.
Recently, a trailer surfaced showing what these birds of prey can do in action. Bombs away!

Are you ready to fly and rain fire upon enemy ships and dog fight your way to victory? Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII will release August 28th. |

Mad Catz is a third party peripheral seller.
They hired a developer to make a game just so they could sell their new peripheral (Flight stick).
On top of this, their controllers are no where near as good as first party ones by Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
This doesn't look like it will be a good game. |

This doesn't look like it will be a good game. The latest update means that 3rd party, wireless, peripherals won't even work. |
If at first you don't succeed; Call it version 1.0 |

I don't care what a game looks like, I only care if I enjoy it. Why do my standards not count? Are the standards tied into the best looking games(Sniper:Ghost Warrior, Forza 4, Mass Effect 3 or Max Payne 3) or are they middle of the road(Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 3, Syndicate, Batman:AC.) Hell this all depends on what your looking at too, I've got a 55 inch 240Hz LED but my 5 year old 20 inch HP PC monitor looks better than it does. As far as I know we are the ones with the standard not the industry so why is your standard better than mine? |
