| Can someone please explain how/why the leaderboards work like this?: I had the #1 rank on 6 out of 8 leaderboards for Sportsmans sub genre,xbox360 games.Just today a guy tied me,if he only tied me,and I held#1 first, why did he then take the #1 place on those boards if I held them 1st for quite some time, and he only tied me?.I don't understand this.It seems that whoever hits it 1st,should stay 1st if another ties you.Could someone please explain this to me because I don't understand it or think it's fair. |

| I don't understand how they work either. I am tied for 1st on a completion leaderboard (with 100%) - loads of people have 100%, but it seems totally random what order the ties are put in. In two days I have been placed 24th, then 11th, and today 90th. No idea why. |

| Just wish I understood why they work the way they do.Not an overall major deal since I got a windows phone last week just for One sportsmans game to play.Still have #1 for all platforms, but lost the#1's for 360 games. It would seem more fair though if the gamer who got there first would stay first even if someone tied them, and only drop down in rank if someone surpassed their scores. |

Just to quote myself from a previous thread: From my experience, in the event of a tie, you just kinda get randomly placed on the leaderboard. I've had that happen with something, where a bunch of us were tied for max TA Score in a very specific leaderboard setting (I think it was like Action-Adventure on WP, can't remember). Anyway, one day I was like 54th or something. The next day (I assume after one of the daily site recalculations) I was in the 30s somewhere, jumped to fourth the next, and then started moving back up and down within the range of people I was tied with.
Point being, by the time you check again, there's a chance you're position could have changed out of sheer randomness. |

| ^Thank you for posting that,it helped.:) I do see the boards bouncing back & forth now from putting me in#2,to putting me back in #1.Guess that's just how they work.:) |

| Leaderboards are based on score, percent, ratio, or whatever the criteria is. That's all they are based on. If you and someone else have the same score, and score is the basis of the leaderboard, then you are tied. Leaderboards are not based on score plus whatever else you'd like them to be based on. |

I'm technically tied for 1st on my leaderboard, but according to my milestone I only broke the top 50... |

Nobody? Really?
You mean except for the OP? And everyone after that? |

| Doesn't mention anything about there being another criteria for ties, as I said that's just asking how it works. |

| When I stated that nobody had stated that. If they don't come out and say what they want they'll never get it. |

| Ultimately, the best option would for everyone tied to have the same rank. Both of you should in theory should show as rank 1. |
