UK pre-order bonuses also detailed
EA have today announced that they are to release an Ultimate Edition of FIFA 13, with buyers getting a free Ultimate Team Gold pack a week for 24 weeks, something that would have normally cost the player £15.
EA also released the cover for this version, which looks REALLY familiar.

Two different pre-orders bonuses have also been announced for UK buyers. Those who pre-order for Amazon will get an extra 10,000 Football Club Credits, with will allow them to unlock additional celebrations, Virtual Pro attribute boosts and extra matches in Head-to-Head Seasons mode, as well as other things that'll be found in the new Football Club Catalogue.
Meanwhile, those who pre-order from GAME will get a special Adidas All-Star team, which will include 23 of the best players in the world, including Nani, Karim Benzema and the man on the cover, Lionel Messi. The exclusive squad will also feature special adidas kits that can be used in Online Pro Clubs.
FIFA 13 is set to release on September 28th, with the Ultimate Edition available to pre-order now.

| I think i'll pre-order from Amazon. I'd rather have more credits to unlock items then have a made up team full of real players in the game, i'm the sort of person who loves the realistic aspect of a football game, and i'm sure I can live without the Adidas kit. |

FinderKeeper said:No pre-order bonuses for North America? They'll likely come later. Last year I got FIFA 12 with $20 Amazon credit back, and also a free Fathead decoration ($15 value). Unfortunately, it had to be an MLS team, but beggars can't be choosers I guess. |

Sigh. More pre-order bonus bullshit. When will publishers ever give up on this crap?
I dont know why Benzema is in an all-star team either. He looked incredibly shite in Euro 2012. |

| The Ultimate Team packs weren't even worth looking at last year- and if they don't majorly overhaul FUT 13 it won't be worth playing anyway. |

| I play football - not football games, so no thanks. I guess they finally realised Rooney is an over-rated, arrogant, granny-shagging, little, scouse dickhead. Or maybe they realised his head of hair, implanted from his bum-cheeks, looks too ridiculous to be on the box-art. |

| Actually, I think those pre-order incentives are pretty good. They apply directly to the game content unlike some of the crap floating around out there. Wonder what they will do for NA. |

| I for one will be picking up the Ultimate edition. I made the mistake last year in picking up the normal FIFA 12 and missing out on those free packs. |
