Anyone interested in game design?
The cartoonish style of The Behemoth's best-selling Castle Crashers is making a return in the studio's next XBLA title, BattleBlock Theater. Though the 2D look of the game sometimes resembles doodles from a novice artist, this trailer shows just how complex the game's design process really is. FYI, this was sped up by about 800% according to the developers.

For more about this trailer, check out the developer's blog. You can pick up Battleblock Theater sometime this year on Xbox LIVE Arcade. |

| Good to see a trailer that isn't Prisoner 100010101 etc. Apart from the hilarious announcement trailer this hasn't been able to maintain my attention. |

Castle Crashers was in development for an exceeding amount of time.
It had time to lose momentum on its Gamecube release before ultimately gaining it again the following generation. |

Alien Hominid was on Gamecube not Castle Crashers.
Actually it was on just about everything
PS2/Gamecube US
Xbox/Game Boy Advance UK
Castle Crashers was 360 then waaaay later PS3. They should PC port it now lol.
Behemoth doesn't care about sequels and said Castle Crashers 2 probably isn't happening but damn they only have 2 games and multiple ports they need to speed up development. |

| After they announced in 2010 that the game's release was being pushed back to 2011 - and then in 2011 all we got was an endless barrage of trailers with no details on any kind of upcoming release date - I let this game slip right of my radar. It's one thing to delay a game for a few months, but this is going on 2 years now...and they STILL can't nail down a release date? I'm left with zero interest in even trying the demo when/if it comes out. |

| I'm still very interested in the game. Behemoth is a small team and they're allowed a bit of extra time to get things done, as far as I'm concerned. |

So many BBT trailers, adverts, blogs, etc have turned up on the TA home page over the last year or two - I find myself clicking and watching, more out of morbid curiosity than enthusiasm.
Needless to say, none of this 'marketing' has won me over. |
