(Scroll down for the short summary of this post)
The Bean Dive is going on nicely, and a lot of people are diving even more games. Myself, I waited to dive on the official Bean Dive Day, July 7th, which ended a couple of hours ago.
However, a lot of people have so many games to dive, that they need a lot more time to finally get around to diving all the games. I had the same problem, so I stayed up late and dived some more after midnight, my local time (GMT +1).
I just refreshed my feed, only to find out that everything that was added AFTER midnight is no longer hidden in the collapsable "EmDeeGee started X games as part of the Bean Dive 2012 event", but is happily cluttering the entire Friend Feed again.
Don't get me wrong, I like the cluttering of the Friend Feed (I was quite disappointed to find out that that would be hidden this time), but is this really supposed to happen? When I open the Bean Dive Hub, there is a line that states: "This event has now finished", but I beg to disagree. Sure, the hub shouldn't accept new entries anymore, but a lot of people will be doing a lot of diving still.
(Read here for the question of this post)
My main question then is: wouldn't it be a good idea to have the Bean Dive Community Event run for say an extra week (without accepting extra registrations!), so everyone that has already signed up for it gets the chance to actually finish the dive (and prevent the cluttering of the Friend Feed at the same time?)???
Just a suggestion from my part. I appreciate what the TA team has done for this event this year. The Bean Dive got a bigger stage than ever because of the extra effort the TA team has put in. Keep up the good work!!

I think I saw somewhere that TrueAchievements changed it so that any game you start after registering will get automatically add on to your dive. I am not 100% sure on this but it seemed to work for a few of my games an hour ago.

RedemtionOWNAGE said:is this comfirmed? because i think thats lame u cant add anymore after the event is over =[One of the ideas behind the bean dive is to clear out your pre-existing backlog of games. For a person who's registered already to add a game after Bean Dive Day is over would imply that they likely bought the game after Bean Dive Day, basicly defeating the purpose of the event. In that case you should either start the game normally or save it for Bean Dive Day 2013 |

| well only reason being because i thought for people with gamefly and have games coming in they could still add them. still cant believe its a day event.... |

| It seems to have cleared up, and new games (from the Bean Dive List at least) are once again grouped under the Bean Dive heading. Awesome! |
