Just found out from a buddy of mine that his Xbox LIVE account was suspended for apparently spamming links from his account to promote TA. The funny part is that he is not even a member of TA, and only sends messages to his friends on LIVE.
I'm just curious to see if anyone else has had this problem, and if there is a solution. Obviously, the Xbox Enforcement Team is doing one of their "investigations", but until then, he can't play online.
I honestly don't even know how this would happen, and why someone else would want to spam links to TA from another person's account...
I'm going to see if he'll forward me the email to copypasta here. |

| The suspension emails are usually very vague for their reasons, though ive not been suspended in a while so i suppose it could have changed now. |

| As far as i know the only way to know to contact the enforcement team is to post on the forums http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/f/41.aspx customer service have no involvement in it at all. |

You'd never get suspended for using Trueachievements links. It's a partnered site... Though if it's manotinous spam towards player then yes that's suspend worthy, read section b of the CoC.
"Don't harass, abuse, or spam other players, or encourage other players to do so." Is the response they'll get under the conditions of what you said are true. |

Sounds like the whole story is not being told if you ask me. I have sent links to people before only advertiding this site and I have yet to be banned.
It may have to do with the fact of how he contacted people. |

| Uhm, what I get out of it is that someone sended a lot of messages about TA.com and people complained about it, cause then it's Spamming. |
