That one day...(hopefully before Fall 2013)...EA will re-open their servers one by one, leaving each of them open for a 2-week period for people to enjoy the games, feel nostalgic, and more importantly finish off unobtainable achievements.
As their 25th anniversary approaches, EA will do this to endear themselves to fans again and show their aren't douchebags. They will then not be the worst company ever.
I have a dream today!

Listen, EA are not only douchebags, they are unrepentant douchebags. Their award for worst company of 2012 was well earned. Ain't gonna happen. |

Ain't gonna happen.This, ea well deserved the title for worst company cause they f over so many gamers, they should A, take out there dumb online cheevos or B, when ever a game is about to go out of service that requires online they should let everyone that pops in that game unlock them auto magically :) |

That would be nice. I'd finally get a chance to play LotR: Conquest online. The game I bought after the servers were already down. The game I have never been able to play online even once.
You might be saying to me, "Hey, caelich, why the hell don't you research your games before you buy them?" To which I would reply that I was innocent and naive and I believed that the world of video games would never betray me.
I've learned my lesson however, and now I do research games before I buy them. I take a look at the case and see if it has a little EA stamp on it. That's as good a reason not to buy a game as any.
I still have a couple EA games that are already on my card that need to be cleaned up, but no more will be added. |
