Operation: Alloy
It's the end of the week once again and that means, for most of us, some time off to forget the daily grind at work. This weekend Bioware will help you do just that. Take part in Operation: Alloy for Mass Effect 3 and earn some in-game goodies while you are at it.

The mission objectives are as follows:
A training center will only take a recruit so far. Our recruits need field experience, so it’s time to integrate them with seasoned squads during our next series of sweeps.
Individual Goal: Promote 2 characters
Allied Goal: Promote 50,000 characters
Special Circumstance: None
Individual Goal Success: All players awarded a Commendation Pack
Allied Goal Success: All players awarded a Victory Pack and an increase to medi-gel capacity Operation Alloy will start on August 24th 11AM MDT – August 26th 5AM MDT. |

What if you are already maxed out on Medi-Gel capacity?

| I'm guessing that the allied reward is a second chance at the global medi-gel capacity increase, like that allied goal that was to extract against Reapers (iirc). It promised to increase the maximum medi-gel capacity from 5 to 6 (and it failed)- no word on if it was actually going to award each individual character another medi-gel capacity upgrade, or just enable them to pick up a 6th when the packs awarded it. |

| medi gel increase! now that's what i am talking about. and i thin ki have 2-3 lvl19 characters too, so won't take me long to promote a few |

| Can someone let mw know what the actual benefit of promoting is? Done it once, and all it seemed to do was reset everything yet give me an achievement. Why would I do it again? |

did plenty of gold runs and bought plenty of 99000cr and 60000cr packages and got at least 4 new character unlocks and 10 new nice weapons
there's not much more for me to unlock (i want the scorpion heavy pistol xD) but i enjoy ME3 MP anyways, so i'll go again this weekend. |

I've had ME3 for a long time but only got into the MP recently. This will be the first N7 weekend I've entered.
Luckily I have both a lv19 Engineer and Sentinel, so a few more matches for each and I should be able to promote them for the commendation pack. |
