Keep your eyes peeled
Ready for another Mass Effect 3 operation? Bioware have detailed upcoming Operation: VIGILANCE which will run from September 7th through September 9th. Here's your mission briefing:

Unexpected attacks have taken out several squads and damaged vital Alliance equipment. We will deploy drones to repair damage and investigate the nature of these attacks.Squad Goal: Complete up to and including wave 10 on any difficulty without using a consumable (medi-gel, ammo, Ops pack or Cobra missile launcher).
Allied Goal: Complete 250,000 escort missions on any difficulty.
Special Circumstance: None
Squad Goal Success: All individual players awarded a Commendation Pack
Allied Goal Success: All players awarded a Victory Pack |

| The game doesn't inform you that you have met the goal, so if you're playing with randoms you'd have no idea if the Squad Goal was met. |

| Agreed, Easy enough challenge... But unless you play private boosting or with friends you don't know if you succeed or not... Shouldn't be squad gold, should be individual goal |

But saying that it does inform you it is an N7 weekend so maybe people will take a bit more care and not do the usual "i want the most kills and i'm going to disappear for the next 20 minutes and let you schmucks do all the tasks and i'll reap as many rewards as you for completing the tasks" (speaking from experience there as i'm always left on my own to do them) rant over. |

| I will be doing this alone then.... why make the squad goal like this. People use cobra launchers for no reason all the time, a lot more on bronze then other difficulties. Doing this with other random people won't work |

| Sounds more like this is a weekend that focuses heavily on teamwork, when boiled right down to it. For a quick squad goal it seems a 2 person bronze is more than enough. Imagine a squad doing that on a platy run. Either way, this gives me a chance to hop off my other games to bring my ToW rating back up. And I could always use this chance to re-level my promoted characters from 2 weeks ago. But seriously, if I get another freaking N7 gun that isnt a Valiant again Im going to snap. Ever since I started using that gun Ive been unable to get another upgrade. Oh well, time to dust off my trusty Krysae. |
