Hi,
tried to do the portal bumping trick to get a gold medal, but it does not seem to work (for me?). Has this been patched? Anybody can confirm that it is still working (if it ever was?) |

What do you do?Basically, if you have a thin wall or door you want to get through, just shoot your blue portal next to it and then shoot your orange portal on top of it which in turn, bumps the orange portal to the other side of the wall since you can't have two portals stacked on top of each other.
This allows you to quickly get through locked doors and thin walls.

| Try clearing your cache and playing offline. That would let you know if it was patched. |

I mean, if you're going to break the game anyways...What you have to do if you are using Portals Anywhere, is to get right by the exit. Save. Start a New Game without cheats enabled. Reload your previous game. Use the Elevator. You should, if you did everything else right (like < # of gold steps/time/portals) get a Gold medal without it showing as Cheated.
Easiest and least hair-pulling method of finishing off those stupid challenges. |

Yeah, I actually just found about this when I went to search what Portal Bumping was. I didn't know this game had exploits. Made me a little releived.
I beat in The Orange Box, then bought it on Arcade thinking I wanted to figure the puzzels out again years later. I didn't. Especially now since I got 2 as well. |
