Does anyone know how the gun shrine works?
From what i can tell you only get 1 chance everytime you go to the shrine. First time I pulled the lever but didn't put a weapon in the hole and the second time I put in a green weapon and marcus said I needed to give him something better to work with |

| My buddies and I did it. You have to have one person go into the hole, and then another press the switch and it sacrifices them and pops out a shield. At least that is what we got. Only one item per time and we haven't tested it to see if it gives us anything else or higher level things. Has to be co-op. You have to wait for the person to be downed, which doesn't take long, and then their final stand meter to run out. Marcus says, "Thanks for your devotion," and out came the shield. |

My friends and I have tried several things with the gun shrine. First, my boyfriend threw a purple gun in the hole and told me it was for me. I went to retrieve it and of course he pulled the lever and I was burned alive. The shrine gave him a blue shotgun, and a few green pistols as well as a white shield.
The second time, my boyfriend sacrificed me, and another friend who was playing with us, and got more or less the same thing.
Throwing guns in with the sacrifice makes no difference. Also, sometimes you get good loot, sometimes you don't. Even with two people being sacrificed, he only received a green sniper one time he did it. |
