Yeah, made it sound professional. Anyways, if this has been suggested before then just go ahead and move the thread whereneedbe
Details: A period (a week or two roughly) period where the TA ratio doesn't reach extreme heights. An example would be Borderlands 2 currently. Some achievements just have a ridiculously high TA score only because many people have not quite had the chance to get the achievements.

I don't think this is necessary. Whilst inflated, they are still statistically accurate. I actually quite enjoy how high the ratios can get on newer games. :)

I don't see a reason to do this either. So a game has inflated ratios for a short period of time. There'd be way too much of a problem among users about what the cap on TA score (or TA ratio, more likely) should be for something like this, and how long the period lasts. Like drabik said, it is statistically accurate, even if inflated for a short period of time.

The main thing I really thought it effected was the little meter on the page. Where having 20/50 achievements showed as completely in the red. I don't know, it was just an idea...

That Meyer has various settings that can be picked by the user, for me its completion. The ratio during the early days is still correct and will eventually stabilise itself so like others have said I don't see this being needed.

It's pretty fun to see how outrageous they can become before coming down to earth. Of course some of them stay up there, which is also awesome, a la Seriously 3.0, which is still around 1200 TA. |
