I think It's worth it, because I play MW2 pretty much every night and the new maps really give it a breath of fresh air.

I think all the maps are pretty cool, However I have trouble on "storm" almost every time and "Crash" sometimes just because it's new and I don't quite have the map down yet. That makes me kinda think at the moment that I hate it, but once I get the hang of the map and quite doing terrible, I'll love it.

The one downside would be that sometimes on a new map things are not the way they should be. When a friend and I were walking around Storm checking it out there were some obstacles that definitely look like you should be able to jump up on but an "invisible wall" keeps you from getting to a place you should no doubt be able to get to. So you got little things like that which could mean they rushed the production a little bit and just decided to not do some things they should have. But I've never really had my game play interfered with a glitch or anything like that.

All in all I love em.
*side note, I never play MW 1, so Crash IS new to me.

It depends. Do you think $15 for five maps (two of which you have probably already played a lot) is worth it. Personally, I don't think so, but maybe you do. I had been playing this game almost everyday since launch (top 30k in wins), but I haven't picked it up in about 2 weeks. Seems to me that they are more interested in raping your wallet than making a decent gaming experience. I never thought I would see a day where I thought a game made by EA (Battlefield) was actually not as much of a rip off as Duty.

I personally think 1200msp is way too much! However if you're playing it all the time I would say why not?

Yeah, I was wildly disappointed with it. My own damn fault for shelling it out. I was gonna pass on it, as I don't even play but 3-4 hours a week of it, but did anyway. I don't think that I'll ever buy another map pack for a COD game. Doubtful I'll ever buy another new copy of a COD game in general. I think the shine has finally worn off that franchise. I can live with waiting for a cheap GOTY copy a year or two after the fact if I have to. Can always just rent for the campaign.

Not worth it imo. It's not that I think they are bad maps because I genuinely do think they are decent, it's just that I much prefer the original ones. Every single game I play now seems to be on the new maps and I'm finding it quite annoying. I suppose I could delete them from my HDD and re-download them when I'm in the mood for playing them but that'd take more effort than it's worth really. The price of the maps never concerned me because I've come to realise that pretty much everything on the marketplace is overpriced anyway.

It depends how much you play it. If you like the game and play it often, I'd say go for it.

It costs $16, most people react like it costs $160...
If you cannot miss even $16, why did you pay for the game in the first place are my thoughts.

I've gotten my fair share out of the DLC, but I play the game a lot.

I see this overpricing not as MW's issue, but Activision's push to exploit DLC - bear in mind their other popular franchise is Guitar Hero.

If you think you'll enjoy the extra variety, buy it for sure. The new maps are a nice change, broadening the map library. If you're just getting sucked in by the hype and will barely touch the game, save your points.

I can honestly say it is NOT worth 1200msp
and even if you do play it every day then surely you will be apt at seeing that these new maps are hardly anything new.
They encapsulate grimey look of the environment well, but they soon become repetitive.
The only plus i can think of is the return of Overgrown one of the best maps in Call Of Duty history, however this is an obvious money making scheme considering it would have taken minimal effort for Infinity Ward to transfer over from COD4, and to still charge the price of 1200msp like they've broke a sweat over the process is just ludicrous.

I really depends on what you want out of the game. If you're looking for new maps, then yeah, it's a pretty good buy. The issue is however that IW could have done so much more. Special Ops seems perfectly designed for DLC addons but they've not even touched on it.
The price is a bit much for the content, but if you can afford it and you play the game a lot, you'll be pleased you got it.

1200msp is way to much for the maps. I have only bought the first one and only liked two out of the five maps.and I'm not buying the second map pack in till the price goes down. You could could buy a hole new game for 1200msp.
