I unlocked this achievement earlier:
but it's not showing up on my Xbox Live Profile..
I also won 6 other achievements previous to this and they are all a showing up fine..any idea what the problem is?
edit - I've just now signed in again to Games for Windows Live and Xbox .com is now recognising that I have unlocked the achievement. |

i cant unlock the "Knowledge Is Power" achievement..
Pops up and disapears 10 scond after unlocking it.. |

Im glad you got it, but just for future reference, it does take some time for your achievements to show up on xbox.com, and for some reason some achievements take longer than usual to show up. Games for Windows is technically not Xbox Live (they are both part of Live though), so it takes a little longer for Games for Windows achievements to register.

Grrr... I spent all night sleeping with my my space key weighted down only to wake up and get the following achievement:
Then when I arrived at work I notice that xbox.com didn't register the achievement; all the hard work I did while sleeping may have been for naught.
Does anyone know if I can log into any game on GFWL to attempt Hyper Fencer method for getting the achievement to register or does it have to be Tinker? |

If you were, like I said, GFWL take a while to come up on xbox Live. It took a couple days for it to register one of my Red Faction: Guerrilla achievements. |

| I must have been signed out when it popped because I did the same thing the next night and made sure I was signed in and it popped fine. |

Just wanted to add to this, I've had this too. For some reason GFWL logs you out after a certain amount of time. I've had Tinker on the entire day yesterday. Playing a level every now and then. Eventually I completed a set so the achievement popped. I wasn't logged in apparently, so it wasn't until today when I logged in again that it was uploaded to XboxLIVE.
I hate when that happens, because it won't show the date... |

I've had so many problems with GFWL acheivements in the past that I am now extra careful about the whole process. I can say with absolute certainty that achievements can pop while logged in and never appear on Xbox.com or on your profile. They just disappear forever.
I've had Robot Controller glitch on my laptop -- it simply never popped even though I played more than enough moves. And after starting Tinker all over on my girlfriend's laptop, being extra careful about everything, it popped but never updared on my profile. Very frustrating game! |
