This week's Deal of the Week sees a 50% reduction on the incredibly funny The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, down from 800 MSP to a total bargain of 400 MSP. As always, this offer is exclusive to Xbox Live Gold members.
Not only that, but this week also sees a price drop on two of the game's Avatar Marketplace items: the Cotton Swab, down from 160 to 80 MSP; and the LeChuck Pirate Hat, down from 80 to a mere 40 MSP.

Can someone explain to me what the game Monkey Island is about? And what are the achievements like?Are they relatively easy?

Thanks - 400points is a decent price for a game.It's a classic remade (graphics wise) point and click game, and yes it's a pretty easy 200, if you do get stuck on it there's a whole walkthrough that you can find that tells you every little thing to do so, yes, easy peasy. |

| Although it said it stil was 800 MSP at the marketplace you will only be charged 400 MSP, so just click through it incase your wondering why it's 800 MSP. |

Hm, this game and a giant Cotton Swab, or 2 games from Game Room. Hm....
This sounds like much better value though, so this wins. |

this is really a great game.
picked it up in December where there was a bargain every day.
this was one of them ;}
wish that there were more games like this these days.
wouldn´t mind a remake of the Discworld games. |

I grabbed it in December, too, even though I played it back when it was first released. On a stack of floppy disks.
Great game, and a fairly easy 200 points. Not a lot of replay value, though. |

My mate's been nagging me to pick this up. Got 435MSP spare, SOLD! Shame it's still showing as 800MSP at the moment :-S
Edit: Spaz attack, it does help if I log into Xbox.com to see the price change, duh! *Facepalm* |

| I already bought this when it was reduced in price previously. Still haven't gotten around to playing it though, so I guess I'll get on that a bit sooner than planned. |
