| Seems pointless to me. I mean even if they felt they HAD to put that scene in the game, they could have easily had her wearing a bra. No reason at all for the nudity. It seems that if games feel they have to have a sex scene they should go the Mass Effect route. You can easily do it w/o nudity. It seems that Rockstar just love to go for the shock and controversy just for the heck of it. |

In context, in that time period and setting and with those characters, the woman wouldn't be wearing a bra while they had sex.
It's an adult game set in a fully believable and realised world. Worrying about controversy could ruin that. |

| That is true about the realism I guess. However, they could have done the shot from the back to avoid the breasts. Realism w/o nudity would have been possible either way. |

| I agree also as I wasn't expecting it but it's a adult game with adult themes, one of which has adults doing the 'nasty' with that said though you also skin animals and mug dead people so morally I think there are worse things in that game but thankfully it's not for kids so there shouldn't be any problems, and hopefully responsible gamers such as myself wouldn't play that sort of game infront of kids |

| I agree with Instantmash. It's an adult game, so there's no reason to have to cover her up or show it from a different angle. I also agree that if you're worried about someone young seeing it, don't play adult games around them. |

I honestly don't see why people get so worked up about this sort of thing. It seems to me that any nudity or sex scenes in a game is a massive taboo, whereas mindless vandalism, murder and all out violence are now the norm and socially acceptable.
We see all of the above in films and on TV nearly everyday. So why is it that the change of media (TV to video games) makes it all that much worse? |
