It's all about how you handle the locals
Gamespot has thrown up a Fable 3 gameplay video from that event a few weeks ago (external link). I think it involved a letter and a digit. D4? A2? E3! (You sunk my battleship  .) This video shows some of the ways players interact with the locals. Includes hand shaking, threats, and farts to the face.
Some information that can be gleaned from the video other than the obvious interactions is that the graphics appear much improved over the previous game. There is also the golden bread trail to your next quest. The interface seems a bit of the same, except instead of using the wheel to make decisions, the available options appear above a local's head.
I hope that will not create any adverse effects when running down a street and you accidentally hit the A button to fart in the cookie seller's face. I enjoyed my discount at her stall.
Fable 3 is slated for an October 26th release across all regions.

Surely there's more to Fable than interacting upon a rude fashion?

| Maybe if this game has no huge reported errors in the first month I'll think about buying it... Fable II pissed me off. I had fun playing with it, my roommate as well. We played co-op and had a blast. My character, after playing at least 20+ hours on, crapped out. My save would just not load. Corrupted files on a single player RPG is a big no-no in my book. Great concept poor execution. |

| Can't wait. Might be my first "buy-as-it-comes-out-game" :). Loved FABLE II, and happy that not much have changes. It was nearly perfect as it was, so no need for changes for me :) |

 Have you never played Fable? There is no game without the rude interactions. Why if I can't give someone the middle finger at least thrice a day I always feel as if I'm missing something.
Personally this game looks exactly like the last one to me, just touched up a bit. And the golden bread crumbs thing is not new, that was in Fable 2 as well. It's basically the exact same game but with a stupid leveling up system, you can bone your co-op partner (who hopefully won't look like some steroid infused female bodybuilder) and a more ambitious storyline. Oh and you can touch everything and everyone.

I hope the expressions are extendable like in fable 2, but can you imagine how gross it would be to mess up an extended fart in face expression?  |

| D4? A2? E3! (You sunk my battleship .)Clearly the most interesting and only funny part of that news story. It still seems like Fable 2 to be honest, which isn't bad, but I'm sure someone at Lionhead said something about "Entirely new gameplay" or something. |

| It wont be as good as they say it will be. I'll still buy it day 1 though. That PM doesn't reach his insane goals is something to be applauded not berated. Most games strive to do nothing. |
